Pricing and Packages
We’ve really grown over here at Ceremony DJs in the last few years and now offer DJs, bands and lighting.
We’ve also got teams of people in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Mexico City.
Let us know where you’re at and we can maybe give you local prices for most of the West Coast.
DJs
All packages include a 20 year experienced club DJ, fully custom music and unlimited requests.
But this gear is heavy, the hours are long and some events require significantly more preparation than others.
Here are some of the most common things people have asked us to do over the last few years.
The Base Package
$3000
Or as I like to call it, the bass package. Includes 2 technics 1210 black matte turntables, 1 Pioneer 900 Nexus mixer, 4 15” JBL PRX815 speakers, 2 Shure lavalier mics and 1 wireless mic.
The speakers are really good and for a small to medium size event this will absolutely cover you. Up to 6 hours of performance, 1 location ceremony and reception.
The Deluxe Package
+$1000
If your event is in more of a hall than a restaurant, or it’s outside in a giant field with 150+ guests, this is what you need.
Includes 2 technics 1210 black matte turntables, 2 Pioneer 900 Nexus mixers, 4 15” JBL PRX815 speakers, 2 Shure lavalier mics and 1 wireless mic.
Plus 2 18” JBL PRX818 Subs, 1 midcentury modern walnut DJ coffin and 1 crate of $50-$100 original vinyl records.
We’ll even throw in a recording of the entire event with all of the music, ceremony and speeches.
Up to 8 hours of performance, 2 locations. For events with a remote ceremony or requiring a mid-event flip.
The All Vinyl Specialty Set
+$1000
Impress your friends and wow your family members by taking full advantage of the fact we are all honestly renowned, accomplished musicians in our own right.
But more importantly, we own all the records. Probably on picture sleeve, 12 inch instrumental, with doubles on the LP. For an extra $1000 we will DJ your entire event on original vinyl doubles.
All of the gear above, plus 9 crates of rare vinyl. All genres. Did I mention we can beat juggle and scratch?
The Late Night Special
+$1000
Many of you would like to go past 10pm and have a full after party, club night experience without leaving your venue.
We aim to please, but as you can imagine it’s not just extra hours of event, it’s 50% more research and preparation.
For an extra G, we will treat you and your friends to another full events worth of turn up tunes. Up to 4 additional hours of performance.
The Welcome Party Weekend
+$2000
If you’re like most people nowadays, your wedding isn’t just 1 day, it’s an entire 3 day weekend of fun and prep.
We’ll DJ your welcome party as well for what amounts to a full second event at a $1000 discount. Up to 4 additional hours of performance.
The Livestream Package
+$2000
One of the best places to save money at your wedding is headcount, but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo all the wedding gifts from those aunts and uncles you couldn’t afford to invite.
Impress your friends and dazzle your distant relatives with our 3 camera, live edited, full event livestream. We got really good at this over COVID but it also works for weddings with small headcounts.
Includes 3 MEVO cameras, 1 iPad with Mevo software, 1 MacBook with OBS, 1 Portal high speed wireless router, 1 PoE switcher, 4 300’ Ethernet cables, and 1 XGIMI video projector for virtual toasts.
And you get a lightly edited video of the entire event, the ceremony, the dinner and the dancing with a welcome screen, your wedding monogram in the corner, full lower third titles on the speeches and all the music for less than most videographers would film just your ceremony.
Check out our livestream reviews from clients and their family members who watched at home here.
The Full Monte
$10,000
You’ve already got 250 people here for a three day weekend at a remote country estate, why not go all out. Deluxe package, all vinyl, welcome party, late night and livestream the whole thing.
It’s still significantly less than your catering bill.

These guys are known in San Francisco for their LCD Soundsystem cover band that no joke might as well be James Murphy.
They also have been known to do Prince cover band, Talking Heads cover band, Devo cover band, and boat loads of surprise 80’s post punk and 00’s indie covers.
These guys will definitely blow the roof off your reception and have been known to rock San Francisco’s Rickshaw Stop with some regularity to sold out crowds.
Check out their bio and press here or for current dates visit them out on the North American Scum website.
Bang On
5 piece, 4 hours
$6000
These guys have been doing shows with us for years. We used to do a 90’s theme night at The Knockout and they would handle all the Britpop related special events.
If you like Blur, Oasis, Stones Roses, Suede, Pulp, The Charlatans, The Smiths, and Echo and the Bunnymen, these are the guys for you. They also do all the classic 60’s and 70’s stuff related to the cool 80’s and 90’s stuff, so The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, Bowie, The Stooges and T. Rex also in the bag.
But more importantly, they are known for their amazing The Strokes cover band which will set your party on fire.
Check out their bio and press here or visit the official Bang On website for current dates out on the town
Miguel Padilla
3 piece, 4 hours
$4000
A staple of the indie pop scene in San Francisco and Sacramento for years, Miguel is not only a super cool indie rock dude but also a classically trained flamenco guitarist.
He can do authentic Boleros sure, but more importantly he can do 80’s underground hits like The Smiths in a classical guitar style. He’s been doing weddings for years and can be seen on the regular at the Bay Area’s finest restaurants and wineries.
If you’d like him to do your entire event, ceremony, cocktail and dinner, he performs as a 3 piece with dance and percussion. But if you just need ceremony he’s graciously offered to do you something both classy and underground for only $1300.
Check out Miguel’s bio, press and some performance samples here.
Lighting
But wait you say. What about the lighting? We can’t have an enormous party with all our family and everyone we’ve ever known without at least some lights?
We’ve got you there as well. All our lighting packages are about 30% off what the big rental houses charge and include free sconces and no labor fee.
If the base package seems a little rich for your tastes, you can definitely thin it out here.
Small Package
$600
Your event is in one small room and you just want some party lights. We can do you 12 Chauvet EZ Par 64 wireless uplights and white GloShield decorative sconces for one low price.
Medium Package
$1200
If your event is in a big hall, has more than one space, or you want some lights for classy mode and some for party, this is your best bet.
24 Chauvet EZ Par 64 wireless uplights and white GloShield decorative sconces is what you need.
Large Package
$1800
Your event is in a big hall, but your dinner is also outside and it has a humongous garden and a redwood grove you’d like to light up after sunset.
36 Chauvet EZ Par 64 wireless uplights and white Glo Shield sconces should do you.
Extra Large Package
$3600
This one is mostly for the corporate clients. Do you have 3 floors of office space plus a gigantic performance area you would like lighting for?
We can do as many as 72 uplights for corporate events, still with free sconces and no labor fee.
Party Lights
We’ve also got all the odds and ends a normal company would offer and then some. Disco ball, pinspots, GOBO pattern lights, black lights and fog machine.
Add these on to any package or keep it simple and order a few.
Disco Ball and Pinspots
$450
For the budget minded, why not throw in the classic disco ball and 4 pinspots for almost no additional cost.
It’s a huge 24 inch disco ball on a stand. If you’d like us to hang it from the ceiling we need an extra guy and a large ladder so its an additional $250 extra.
Gobo Pattern Lighting
$250
The classic GOBO pattern lighting is a standard at many normal wedding companies that we have on hand mostly out of a desire for completeness.
GOBO stands for “Goes before optics” and it’s basically a stencil projection. We can do all the standard stencils or a custom wedding monogram for an additional $150.
Black Light Party
$450
We’ve had our share of Hora Loca latin EDM clients lately, and if this is you, nothing says crazy like 3 industrial strength black lights to light up your neon glow stick party.
Pair it with a small, medium or large uplight package set to blue and now you’re really talking.
Full Manual Rock & Roll Light Show
+$1000
You know when you go to a concert and there’s a long haired guy in the booth that manually runs all the lights so they play along with the band?
Yeah, we’ll do that. We’ve got a Chauvet OBEY 40 light controller and enough DMX cables to connect up to 12 uplights.
If you think it’s crazy we’re already juggling the records and the livestream manually, try adding in that.
All of the Lights
$4250
And for the true players, we’ve got the Kanye West “All of the Lights” special. Flash lights, spotlights, strobe lights, street lights, all of the lights, all of the lights.
Light it up like it’s a festival rave in there. 36 uplights, disco ball and pinspots, 3 gobos projectors or black lights, plus manual control on the lighting.
Travel and Destination Weddings
Travel
Free for events less than 2 hours from San Francisco, Los Angeles or Portland otherwise…
2 nights @ $250 / night
And finally a note on travel. While we would really like to make things as all inclusive as possible around here, the reality is if your event is more than 2 hours away, it’s not possible for us to load the car, get there and set up in time or break down, get home and load the gear back into the house at any reasonable hour.
That said, we do a reasonable $250 a night for travel and typically require a 2 night minimum for events more than 2 hours from Portland, San Francisco or Los Angeles. This is half what the hair and makeup lady charged us at our wedding and basically covers hotel, but not our time on the road or gas.
I promise, it’s still a deal. And we’ll do a quick site visit with you all at 4:00 pm the evening before the event just to make sure everything is tip-top.
Destination Weddings
$3000 plus travel, equipment not included
Yes, please! If it’s within reasonable driving distance we’ll even stick to the rates described above.
But if we have to get on a plane and fly to Bali, we obviously can’t bring all the gear, so you would be responsible for renting the gear from a local company and we would handle the creative part.
Same $250 / night travel but add in the cost of a plane ticket. We can’t wait to see you all in Bali!
